O Sports Show 017: We’re Back!

We’re back! The 17th episode of the O Sports Show is chock full of information that Scott and Nate discuss. Before we start the show, we bring up the tragic death of John Saunders. He passed away Wednesday morning at the age of 61. He was a beloved ESPN broadcaster and our condolences go out to his friends and family. Major League Baseball has been in full swing lately and as the end of the year approaches, the division races are getting more and more interesting. The MLB trade deadline also just passed this past week and there was a lot to go around, in terms of a lot of recognizable names being dealt to different teams, Scott breaks down a handful of some of the trades that occurred and what it might mean in the long run. Russell Westbrook just signed an extension with the Oklahoma City Thunder. The reason this is interesting is because his former teammate, Kevin Durant, just signed with the Warriors and it left his future with OKC in jeopardy. Scott and Nate also discuss the latest that is going on in the Olympics, including the USA swim teams and basketball team. Is Michael Phelps the greatest athlete ever? The O Sports Show reveals the fantasy football league they all will be participating in and what that will mean come football season.
